Phil Hawley & Associates completed a Waste Strategy in early 2006 for Upper Lachlan Shire in the Southern Tablelands of NSW. 

The Council presently has 3 different waste collection arrangements and 6 active landfills as well as a transfer station.  

The strategy is in 2 parts:

1. a background report that describes the Shire, our findings, opportunities and options for consideration
2. the actual strategy, which contains the recommendations
